About: Little Mandarin Classes teach Mandarin Chinese to children aged 2-11. We deliver a programme through sign language, story-telling and role-play during curriculum time, after school or as PPA cover or story-time.

The classes are highly interactive and stimulate creativity. Teachers encourage children to express themselves and use the new vocabulary by telling stories based on children's day to day experiences.

Little Mandarin Classes follows the EYFS and National Curriculum standards and benefits the pupils in many ways:
- improve linguistic and cognitive skills
- enable higher academic achievement
- develop cultural awareness and social skills

“We have been delighted with these initial Little Mandarin Classes - they have been a real hit! Thank you for setting it up”

Siobhan Horisk, Headteacher, Hackney New School

“The children are really enjoying the Mandarin lessons. They look forward to the lessons each week and they are focused and engaged. They have learnt lots of new words and many of them proudly tell me what they have learnt and go home and tell their parents too! I would certainly recommend Little Mandarin Classes to other schools.”

Henry King, Business Manager, Young England Kindergarten
