Over the past 14 years, EdisonLearning has helped more than 600 schools to achieve lasting improvement through a unique approach reflecting what research tells us about learning, impactful professional development and the features of highly effective schools from across the world.
There are three essential aspects of our work:
• An integrated suite of tools and resources distilled from research help to address some of the key issues being faced in schools today. These include the Quality Frameworks for Leadership; the Quality Framework for Learning and Teaching; Compass, an online resource to support effective classroom assessment; the Primary Connected Curriculum; Learning and Life Skills, a whole-school strategy for developing each learner’s personal capacities; and the Collaborative Quality Analysis (CQA); a holistic approach to understanding a school’s strengths and priorities for improvement, beyond the confines of the inspection framework.
• An approach to managing innovation, underpinned by ISO9001 accredited quality management processes, that supports and advances effective collaboration and partnership working.
• Flexible support and assistance from highly credible Achievement Advisers, guiding each participating school towards their own individual goals and ambitions
From 2012, EdisonLearning have worked in partnership with the NAHT to design and deliver the highly acclaimed Aspire school improvement initiative. Independent evaluation from the University of Derby found that “Many of the schools on the programme have seen NAHT Aspire as a transformative experience: it has changed the way the schools see themselves, improved progress, attainment and pupil behaviour, and increased the confidence levels of many staff”.

“My staff feedback to me very positively also and many said it had been one of the best training days they had experienced. I think it is going to be a very valuable tool for us to address the issues we have, particularly around improving teaching and therefore pupils' achievement. ”
