Registering a Company

Members must be 18 years or above and have full agreement from the company to register with Incensu and upload content to the site. We expect all companies and their employees to be honest and truthful when uploading content to the Incensu website. Companies are fully responsible for the content they upload to their profile and must ensure that content, including any images are copyright compliant as Incensu cannot be held responsible for copyright breaches from any content uploaded to supplier profiles. Where photographs contain images of people, especially children, written approval must have been obtained which covers publication on the Incensu website and any other Incensu marketing including social media marketing. At the point of registration, if you are providing a recommending school you should have have sought approval from them before submitting this detail.

Registration is billed on a subscription basis. This means that you will be billed in advance on a recurring, annual basis (each period is called a “billing cycle”). Your Subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel via e-mail at least 7 days prior to the start of the new billing cycle by contacting our customer support team at office@incensu.co.uk. While we will be sad to see you go, you may cancel at any time, in which case your Subscription will continue until the end of that billing cycle before terminating. If cancellation is made within 7 days of the next billing cycle the subscription fee is still payable. The purpose of monthly billing is to make the annual subscription more manageable for suppliers. Paying monthly offers suppliers the convenience of spreading their annual subscription over 12 months. If cancellation notice is received during the billing cycle monthly payments will stop at the end of the 12 months. If monthly payments are discontinued during the billing cycle the balance becomes due immediately with additional costs incurred if the balance is not settled within 7 days.

As soon as a company profile is opened and goes live on the site, the billing cycle will start.  Members will receive a pro-rata refund if the Incensu service is discontinued or if we are in material breach of this agreement and the breach is not remedied within the period of 14 days after written notice of the breach has been given. In the event of such cancellation and after such notice is given members will receive a refund within 28 days.

Failure to pay on time may lead to the suspension of an entry although the membership period continues, despite suspension.  Incensu wants companies listed, and not suspended, and will work with companies to avoid this and then to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

All memberships are for rolling periods and prices applied to that account are those at the time of renewal.  Renewal is automatic but we recommend you review your membership needs regularly. Automatic payment upon renewal is not refundable.

Companies failing to abide by the terms and conditions will be suspended from the site, pending investigation.

Special deals that Incensu offer, for example discounts for registration by a set date only apply to annual registrations.  Equally, if companies sign up for free trials, at the end of that trial, paid registration will commence unless a company gives 7 calendar days notice.

Once registered and supplier profiles are listed on the Incensu website they are in the public domain to any company seeking advertising support. However, registration data is only shared with carefully selected Incensu partners whose details appear on the Incensu website's Partners and Supporters page where genuine benefit is anticipated for our suppliers.

Reviews & Recommendations

The 'Leave a Review' aspect of this site is an integral aspect of the online tool and as such it is important that its use is well explained and all that use the service are fully aware of what the rules are concerning its use.  All reviews are submitted for moderation to ensure no offensive content or language is published.  Incensu does not moderate content beyond that and the information submitted in a review is the opinion of the reviewer and not the view of Incensu.

In signing up to the register, a company understands that feedback on their company will be given by their end users (the schools and other members of the education sector). This feedback is intended as helpful feedback to other education sector professionals and will be shared on the site with a contact name and their school or establishment name. The company understands that all reviews submitted are done so in good faith and constructively.

We intend all reviews to be published immediately after the 'offensive content and language' checks are completed.  We intend that all reviews relating to a company are automatically forwarded to that company for viewing and possible reply. We strongly recommend that companies check their company profile on a regular basis to check the reviews that have been left.

In using the register and by submitting reviews, schools must understand the rules in place. Reviews are important and form an integral part of the online tool. Reviews must be constructive and honest. These will be posted online with the reviewer's name and school. Please only write what you are comfortable in doing and on the understanding that these are your reviews and not that of your school as a whole or that of Incensu.

ALL reviews are moderated before submission for offensive content and language. Schools are encouraged to offer honest feedback and Incensu recognises that sometimes feedback will not be positive. We will deal with this type of feedback in the same way we do positive feedback.

Incensu cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from the inclusion of a rating or review on the website. Incensu expressly excludes liability for any inaccuracies, errors or other content in reviews to the fullest extent permitted by law.
