About: Dance is becoming increasingly popular among children. Here at Fuse Dance Academy we want to increase the quantity and quality of dance lessons in schools. All of our sessions are planned and taught by a qualified dance & primary school teacher to gain the best results. We tailor sessions to each school’s requirements. Dance provision is mostly found under P.E in primary schools. As well as combining physical literacy and developing social skills, it is hard to believe that less time is spent on dance than any other art form in schools. Our team consists of a dance teacher and a primary school teacher that work together to create outstanding plans for each school. We deliver national curriculum dance as well as dance workshops which can lead to a performance or be directly related to most topics in the curriculum.
We are proud to have developed a lesson structure which enables us to explore all aspects of dance within a session. We are also determined to get more boys dancing, we have sessions which are guaranteed to get them moving.
