About: Kreston Reeves advises dynamic organisations, private individuals and families. We help them make confident decisions about the future.

Our unusually broad range of skills allows us to work across the full spectrum of their business and personal affairs. Our personal and open approach brings clarity and composure in an ever-changing world.

We serve clients across the world and the UK from our offices in London, Brighton, Canterbury, Chatham Maritime, Chichester, Discovery Park (Sandwich), Eastbourne, Gatwick, Horsham and Worthing.

Since we started out, over 100 years ago, we’ve remained committed to setting the standard for business, wealth and tax advice, and offering services built on an integrated foundation of in-depth expertise and industry knowledge. We employ more than 450 staff, including 50 partners, who together make Kreston Reeves a top 25 accountancy firm in the UK.

Traditionally accountants have concentrated on recording and verifying the past. But as accountants and business advisers we also think about the present and the future. We get to know you, so we can help you make the right decisions as you move forward.

We’ll seamlessly combine the usual accountancy skills with broader strategic and advisory input to meet your needs. And we’ll bring years of commercial and financial planning experience helping people like you be ever more successful.

Everyone’s situation is unique, so you’ll be looked after by people who will work hard to get to know you and understand exactly what you need. You’ll have key points of contact so you always know who to contact about where you are and what to do next. And we’ll be right there at your side, whatever the future brings.

We have an unusually broad range of accountancy, tax and business skills, so we can put together exactly the right team, whatever your needs or situation.

We complement our core of traditional accountancy expertise with specialists in corporate finance, business advice, online accounting, tax – whether corporate, international or personal, VAT consulting, wealth management and forensic accounting.

We have experience with schools who are currently converting to Academy status, and can assist those considering making the change. We are aware of the wider issues facing academies such as fundraising, payroll, the responsible officer role, VAT and tax, and have specialist teams in place to assist with all of these areas.

We have already been appointed as accountants to act for over 45 converter schools ranging from small primary schools to large secondary schools, from single schools to formal federations/trusts.

Finally, we are a member of Kreston International, a network of independent accountancy firms and a founder of the UK Kreston academies group. This group works together to share experiences, expertise and technical resources covering a wide range of educational clients including over 600 schools. Kreston Reeves are co-contributors to the Kreston Academies Benchmark Report which provides an in-depth analysis of what is happening in the sector thanks to the volume of data included in the report.

“Kreston Reeves were appointed auditors to the school upon our conversion to an Academy in April 2012. From day one the advice and guidance has been completely professional with a personal touch. No question has been too small and we have always been provided with almost immediate responses. Within this first year we have been guided through the many EFA returns to ensure the Academy is fully compliant. The end of year process was unobtrusive and relatively straight forward; again the team who visited were professional and friendly with full advice on hand when required. We look forward to a strong continued working relationship in this ever changing Educational Environment ”

Paula Bunnell, School Business Manager, The Norton Knatchbull School

“In my capacity as Director of Finance for a recently formed Multi Academy Trust, I would wholeheartedly recommend Kreston Reeves as auditors. They have a friendly relaxed attitude and any queries we may have are followed up in a timely manner. They will intervene as much or as little as is required and are quick to disseminate information regarding new directives or legislation. I find their breakfast briefing particularly useful, well attended and a great chance to network with other colleagues in education and other areas of commerce ”

Mary Cressey, Director of Finance, The Dover Federation for the Arts
